New Feature Rich, Affordable, Youth Training Tool

The Blast Attack is Sports Attack’s new single wheel machine designed for club and other youth programs. It delivers fastballs up to 60 MPH. Unique design also incorporates easy elevation adjustment, full fungo capabilities and extreme portability.

Performance

  • Accurate, realistic fastballs up to 60 MPH, simulates speeds up to 90 MPH at 40 feet.
  • Throwing head pivots for unlimited defensive drills including grounders, fly balls, line-drives, pop-ups, and challenging catcher’s pop-ups.
  • Lightweight, simple to use design makes it perfect for youth teams, machine leagues, younger traveling teams, individual backyard play, and drills at all levels.

Unique Features

  • Digital speed readout provides accurate speed with every pitch.
  • Black throwing head allows hitter to see the ball early for better vision and timing.
  • Quick pitch elevation change places the ball exactly where you want it in the strike zone.
  • Horizontal control has positive lock for accuracy and safety.
  • Pitch height indicator facilitates repeatability in every set-up and allows quick adjustments for field surface differences.
  • Transport wheels (included) make moving on and off the field easy.
  • Compact size fits into any car.
  • Detailed instructions and labels support a quick start-up.
  • Converts from softball to baseball easily.
  • Accessory extended legs available for higher release point.

 Exceptional Quality

  • Solid concave wheel is shaped to fit the ball for accuracy and repeatability.
  • Polyurethane wheel requires no air, providing consistent performance with every use.
  • All steel-welded construction, no plastic that will break when hit by a ball.
  • Rugged powder-coated rust-proof steel frame ensures limitless seasons of use.

 Why not a curveball?

The only way a one-wheel machine can throw a true curveball is if the throwing head is turned to a 45-degree angle and the ball chute is moved to the bottom of the wheel. (For a fastball the chute has to be at the top of the wheel.) Unless both of these changes are made, a one-wheel machine can only produce backspin pitches that have a ‘tail,’ a tilted backspin ball delivery is NOT a curveball, despite what some competitor’s claim.
